MINI REVIEW: THE APPLICATION OF BRAIN-COMPUTER INTERFACES IN ROBOTIC THERAPY

The idea of robotic therapy has been considered as a possible rehabilitation strategy to facilitate recovery the patients with disability and it can represent an efficient treatment. Brain-computer interface (BCI) is known advanced technology great potential in therapeutic assistive robots. This paper presented review application BCI systems through combination electroencephalography (EEG) functional electrical stimulation (FES). For this purpose, basic concept each BCI, EEG, FES introduced give general view their function. In addition, EEG-BCI FES-BCI treatments showed by providing summary different researches for field. end, document terminated discussion about arguments behind studied topics future directions advances therapy.
